Steve Purcell - Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
On graduating from Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia in 1993 Steve worked in hospital in private practice settings in rural Western Australia. He completed a Master of Physiotherapy in Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2000 at the University of Queensland.

Steve commenced practice in Enoggera in 2002 dividing his time between the clinic and various teaching commitments. He has lectured and tutored at an undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University of Queensland and Griffith University. He also provides further education to physiotherapists through the Australian Physiotherapy Association. He has participated in numerous research trials as a treating clinician for the University of Queensland.

Steve provides specialist case reviews for insurance companies and has previously been the external physiotherapy advisor to WorkCover Queensland. In 2007, Steve gained the title Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist which recognises his clinical ability and ongoing contribution to the profession. In 2010, Steve was appointed to the panel of physiotherapists for the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Steve is married to Margie and is the proud father of Sam, Matthew and Ben. His wife is very tolerant and understanding and for this he is most grateful.

Our History

I saw great potential in this highly visible little house that had become somewhat obscured by an overgrown garden and allowed to fall into disrepair.

We acquired the premises here in the autumn of 2002 and opened in July of that year after much unphysiotherapy like back-breaking work. Since then the premises has been progressively renovated and updated and I remain very pleased that the decision was made to commence Enoggera Physiotherapy.
